Year-over-Year (YOY) Comparison

Purpose of this page

The YOY Comparison page is designed to help you track performance trends year-over-year. It automatically compares the current year’s results with the same period from the previous year — day by day.

This view is ideal for identifying long-term growth, seasonal patterns, and shifts in performance over time.

Date Logic

  • You cannot manually select a custom date range on this page.

  • Instead, the dashboard always shows data from the current year, aligned with the exact same days from the previous year.

  • For example, July 15, 2025 is compared to July 15, 2024 — across all metrics.

Granularity Control

You can choose the level of time granularity:

  • Day – for detailed short-term comparisons

  • Week – for spotting weekly patterns and smoothing out noise

  • Month – to track strategic growth at a high level

Changing the granularity affects how the data is grouped and compared across years.

Filters and Dimension Control

Use the following filters to focus your analysis:

  • Channel

  • Sub-channel

  • Campaign

You can also use the Dimension Selector to define how data is grouped and compared:

  • Group and analyze results by Channel, Sub-channel, or Campaign

Metric Selection

You can choose which metrics to analyze, depending on your business goal:

  • Are you increasing orders year-over-year?

  • Has your cost efficiency improved?

  • Is POAS (Profit on Ad Spend) keeping pace?

Metric selection impacts both the graphs and the growth table.

Year-over-Year Growth Table

At the bottom of the page, you’ll find a detailed growth table that shows:

  • Absolute and percentage change in key metrics compared to last year

  • Top and bottom performers across your selected dimension

  • Trend direction: where you're gaining, losing, or holding steady

You can use the Dimension Selector to choose which level the table shows:

  • Compare growth by Channel, Sub-channel, or Campaign

This makes it easy to zoom in on exactly the level of insight you need.

Use this page to:

  • Monitor if your marketing performance is growing vs. last year

  • Detect early signs of trend shifts

  • Evaluate whether campaign changes are delivering improvements

  • Spot seasonal performance patterns

  • Uncover efficiency gaps or scale opportunities
