Metric Comparison

Purpose of this page

The Metric Comparison page is designed to help you analyze and compare two different performance metrics side by side. It’s particularly useful when you want to explore how different KPIs relate to each other. Such as cost vs margin, or ROAS vs Conversions.

This view enables a more analytical look at how key metrics interact, diverge, or correlate over time or across different marketing dimensions.

How it works

Metric Selection

You can select two metrics to visualize in a single chart. The first metric as a line, and the second metric as bars. For example:

  • Cost vs Orders

  • POAS vs Margin per Order

  • Cost per conversion vs Cost

This lets you examine how one metric evolves in relation to another.

You can change the selected metrics at any time using the metric selectors at the top of the page.

Filters and Dimension Control

To focus your comparison, you can apply filters:

  • Channel

  • Sub-channel

  • Campaign

  • Country (if applicable)

  • Outlet channel (if applicable)

  • Date period and Date granularity.

You can also use the Dimension Selector to choose how data is broken down in the table below the chart. The dimension selector does not alter the graphs.

  • View metrics by Channel, Sub-channel, or Campaign

Metric Comparison Chart

At the top of the page, the dashboard shows a dual-metric chart:

  • Your selected metrics are displayed together over time

  • Useful for spotting inverse or parallel movements, sudden spikes, or divergence

Metric Breakdown Table

Beneath the chart, a table shows:

  • The selected two metrics side-by-side

  • Grouped by your chosen dimension (e.g. campaign, sub-channel)

  • Allowing you to scan, compare, and evaluate detailed differences at a glance

You can use the Dimension Selector to control what level of breakdown is shown in the table.

Use this page to:

  • Understand how two KPIs relate over time or across entities

  • Identify efficiency gaps (e.g. high spend, low returns)

  • Spot patterns like rising cost with falling conversions

  • Compare campaign performance across multiple metrics

  • Analyze trade-offs between volume and profitability
